Sunday Surprise A man sits down to Sunday lunch He's had a heavy week But when his wife brings in his plate The man is stunned and cannot speak "No beef, no pork, no leg of lamb No sausages, no pies?" She laughs and says "That's it my friend!" As joy beams from her eyes "I want my meat I'm hungry" Shouts the man with knife in hand "You've had it mate this house is now Official Vegan Land!" "No more are we partakers Of the tortured and the killed This fridge will never contain Any death however chilled" "You'll learn to love our new way My dear husband in the end As I'm sure that you will learn to love... Vegans Are... "Vegans are crazy!" "Vegans are mad!" They portray us as violent But we're angry and sad We stand out from the crowd We stand up for our friends We don't follow the usual Marketed trends Some say we are fools "In a dreamworld" they say I say "We are right And come follow the way!" "There is much to be done There are many to save So get off of your arse And get out of your cave!" Vegans are caring Vegans are kind And our friends will be free!
